Schulentwicklung und religiöses Lernen im transnationalen Horizont. Gestaltungsperspektiven am Beispiel des Projekts „schools500reformation“

Abstract

How can Protestant schools be understood and actually shaped as transnational educational spaces in todayʼs global society? This question is addressed firstly by assessing the concept of transnational spaces with regard to education and Protestant schools. Subsequently, the global networking project "schools500reformation" is introduced and used as a reference for discussing the potentials and limitations of such an approach. The authors call attention to the necessity of placing and developing Protestant schools in the wider context of global Protestantism and One World. Finally, ways and means of fostering transnational communication and interaction between students and teachers of Protestant schools worldwide are presented and scrutinized.Zusammenfassung: Der Beitrag geht der Frage nach, wie Evangelische Schulen in der gegenwärtigen Weltgesellschaft als transnationale Bildungsräume verstanden und gestaltet werden können. Dafür wird zunächst das Konzept transnationaler Bildungsräume schulpädagogisch geschärft und auf das globale evangelische Schulwesen bezogen. Sodann wird diese Perspektive am Beispiel des globalen Schulentwicklungsprojekts "schools500reformation" schrittweise konkretisiert: Auf der einen Seite wird begründet, warum es nötig und wichtig ist, Evangelische Schulen im Kontext des globalen Protestantismus und der Einen Welt umfassender zu verorten. Auf der anderen Seite werden kommunikative und interaktive Wege aufgezeigt und diskutiert, wie eine solche Horizonterweiterung didaktisch angebahnt werden kann.
