School dropout and substance use: Consequence or predictor?

Abstract: Several national studies report that students decide to drop out of school because of various reasons. Furthermore, there are ethnic variations in the causes of early school leaving. There were 27 or 2.16% dropouts in SY 2016-2017, 22 or 3.23% in SY 2017-2018, and 49 or 3.71% in SY 2018-2019.
