“…Some themes related to the research variables are given in Table 6. The present study also posits that sustainable education would be enhanced by having institutional support and leveraging digital tools to achieve sustainability practices, i.e., smart building automation, building information modeling, scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) as well as shifting most educational activities to the digital space [136,137,141,142]. Third, an in-depth analysis could be obtained by utilizing the mixed research method or by collecting qualitative data on how institutional support is perceived and its impact on inclusive leadership to influence academic loyalty.…”

“…Linking numerous philosophical stances into an overarching epistemology has been frequently and fruitfully used within built environment research. For example: Van der Meij et al (2021) utilised a mixed philosophical stance when analysing performance management in the Dutch steel processing industry; Posillico et al (2022b) used a combination of interpretivism and pragmatism when analysing construction management scholarship of teaching and learning extant literature; and Ellis et al (2021) used a combination of two philosophical stances when examining a negotiated tender case study based on project cost variance. Hence, the approach adopted is scientifically justified in the present research.…”
