Schistosomiasis in Children in the Philippines: Beyond Health Issues

Abstract: This article aims to discuss the issues about Schistosoma japonicum infection in the Philippines based on the research findings of previous studies. This includes reviews about the nature of schistosomiasis, with emphasis on its effects on children.
