Abstract:Schiff bases are important compounds formed from primary amines and carbonyl compounds. These compounds have a functional group called imine or azomethine and are of great interest in pharmaceutical research for their unique biological properties. In our study, we generated the schiff base of the bactericidal medication sulphamethoxazole using aromatic aldehydes as treatments.
