Scarce Means, Competing Ends: Lord Robbins and the Foundations of Contextual Economics

Abstract: This paper analyses the role of Lord Robbins' definition of economics (RDE) emphasizing scarcity and choice, as well as its usefulness for clarifying the foundations of contextual economics.
