Satellite-Aided Consensus Protocol for Scalable Blockchains

Abstract: In this work, we propose a satellite-aided permissionless consensus protocol for scalable space–terrestrial blockchains. We design its working principle and workflow by taking full advantage of satellites for extensive coverage and ubiquitous connectivity.
