Abstract: Background:Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have a higher risk of osteoporosis not only due to chronic inflammation status, but also due to the treatment with glucocorticoids. FRAX is a computer-based algorithm developed by the World Health Organization for estimation of the 10-year risk of a hip or major osteoporotic fracture.
