Abstract: BackgroundNon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the cornerstone of conventional treatment in ankylosing spondylitis (AS). In case of insufficient response, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) inhibitors are available.
