Abstract: Introduction: Hereditary podocytopathies are genetically highly heterogeneous. Extra-renal symptoms, when associated, are specific for the causal gene. Two unrelated pedigrees presented with a novel infantileonset severe disorder characterized by steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS), cataracts, sensorineural deafness and enterocolitis.
