The progression of renal failure to chronic kidney disease stage 5 was noted in one case. In multivariate study, predictive factors of renal involvement in sarcoidosis were hypercalcemia and hypercalciurie and predictive factor of poor renal outcome was proteinuria. Conclusions: Renal involvement is a rare initial presentation of sarcoidosis. It is probably underestimated. It requires early and appropriate diagnosis and treatment to prevent progression to chronic kidney disease.
