Abstract:The clue behind the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 remains a huge debate among the virologist, policymakers, and general public, while the gain-of-function hypothesizes mostly focused on the furin cleavage site and receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the spike (S) protein.
