Sand fly (Diptera: Psychodidae: Phlebotominae) records in Acre, Brazil: a dataset

Abstract: Amazonian phlebotomine sand fly fauna is one of the most diverse in the world. The Amazon region is also the most prevalent for leishmaniasis in Brazil and South America. The state of Acre, in this region, also stands out in terms of the diversity of sand fly fauna, as well as the occurrence of American tegumentary leishmaniasis.
