Samsonov’s Model for Electronic Mechanism of Sintering and its Relevance

Abstract: In the present review a generalized view of sintering mechanism on the basis of the electronic nature of the chemical species involved has been highlighted. The stable electronic configuration model proposed by G.V.Samsonov is one of the models.
