“…The agreements aim to promote collaboration between municipalities and health enterprises. Evaluations based on document analysis and interviews with informants at top levels in the administrations conclude that those agreements may constitute a useful framework for coordination between hospitals, but cannot replace the day-today dialogue in discharging patients from hospital to municipal services (Gautun, Martens, & Veenstra, 2016).
