The System Analysis Module (SAM) is a modern system analysis tool being developed at Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne) for advanced non-LWR safety analysis. A series of assessment cases are modeled using SAM and, when applicable, compared against analytical solutions or engineering judgement. This report documents the assessment of SAM for eleven different categories. These categories include:
