Salvaging low contrast abdominal CT studies using noise-optimised virtual monoenergetic image reconstruction

Abstract: Objectives: To assess the impact of noise-optimised virtual monoenergetic imaging (VMI+) on image quality and diagnostic evaluation in abdominal dual-energy CT scans with impaired portal-venous contrast.
