Salvage of planned ALT flap with rectus femoris free flap for pediatric lower extremity reconstruction: A demonstrative case report

Abstract: HighlightsFree tissue transfer is becoming the standard of care for lower extremity reconstruction.Perforators of the descending branch of circumflex femoral artery based flaps can include the rectus femoris muscle flap.Its a valid available option when more common cutaneous perforator is not available.Its safe and easy to perform with great success.
