“…Salvage therapies after brachytherapy are much less studied than those after external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) . After brachytherapy, salvage therapies, including salvage radical prostatectomy (SRP) , cryotherapy , new irradiation (brachytherapy and EBRT ), are applied in carefully selected patients and remain challenging procedures with high morbidity. Treatment options should be carefully discussed with patients given potential post‐treatment permanent side‐effects.…”
