“…After 4 days, seedlings were transferred into Hoagland′s nutrient solution having 0.05, 0.13, 0.26, 0.39 and 0.52 g/L malathion for 4, 8 and 18 h. Cytogenetical studies were carried out by fixing roots in ethanol and glacial acetic acid (3:1 v/v) for 24 h, followed by hydrolysis in 1 N HCl at 60 °C for 5 minutes.
