Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Modulators of Signal Transduction

Abstract: Signal transduction pathways are heavily dependent on interactions with the cellular environment. The same environmental elements that make food tasty (salt, fat, acid, heat) have profound impacts on many other aspects of protein function.
