Salmonella pyomyositis with concurrent sacroiliac osteomyelitis presenting as piriformis syndrome

Abstract: A-21-year old male admitted with fever and piriformis syndrome, typically associated with gluteal region pain radiating down the thigh, was evaluated and found to have pyomyositis involving piriformis and osteomyelitis with sacroiliac joint affection on radiological imaging.
