Abstract:This paper presents a review of vector control methods for AC drives for the last decade. A variety of techniques with different concepts are mentioned for the control of induction motors (IMs), permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), double fed induction generators (DFIGs) and switched reluctance motors (SRMs). Vector control has advanced its concept to AC drives for high performance applications with the help of digital signal processors (DSPs) and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The development… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
