“…Depending on the electrical charge of the metal center and that of the ligands, complex ions can be positive (complex cations) or negative (complex anions). Aqueous substances used in the laboratory often contain several species that interact with each other and with water in such a way that they produce two or more systems in equilibrium that react simultaneously, we will call this type of equilibrium Equilibria Simultaneous or Multiple or Conditional Equilibria, which are handled by what is known as conditional constants that are the constants that we know but dependent or conditioned to some species such as H + (pH) or some complexing agent, precipitant or agent reducing or oxidizing (Ben Jrad et al, 2019). Sometimes the conditional potential is also handled, which is the one that it depends on one of the aforementioned species.…”

“…In these associations, the molecules that provide stability to the ion commonly act as a Lewis base, that is, they have one or more pairs of unshared electrons that can "give up" to the cation increasing its stability (Mondal & Chattopadhyay, 2019). This group of compounds, in which a central cation is stabilized by one or more ions or molecules that act as Lewis bases, are called complex ions, or only complexes and the group of compounds that contain them are called compounds of coordination (Ben Jrad et al, 2019).…”

“…The N 2 O 2 coordination sphere has been significantly altered due to the high electronegativity of the introduced O atoms, which will lead to novel structures and complexes with different properties formed by metal ions with the above-mentioned salamo-based ligands (Liu et al, 2020a;Pan et al, 2020b;Zhang et al, 2019aZhang et al, , 2020bKang et al, 2019a;Sun et al, 2019). The unique physical and chemical properties of salen-and salamo-based ligands and their metal complexes have attracted widespread attention in many fields, such as supramolecular architecture (Zhang et al, 2020a;Mu et al, 2020a;An et al, 2020), biology (Pessoa & Correia, 2019;Umemura et al, 2017;Asatkar et al, 2017), electrochemistry (Khandar et al, 2006;Solomon et al, 2019;Ben Jrad et al, 2019), catalysis (Sun et al, 2005;Woo et al, 2017;Ghosh et al, 2017;Azam et al, 2017;Li et al, 2019a;Konev et al, 2018;Noritake et al, 2013), ion recognition (Ryu et al, 2016;Kenaan et al, 2020;Bian et al, 2020;Xu et al, 2020;Peng et al, 2020;Liu et al, 2019aLiu et al, , 2020bZhang et al, 2020c;Wang et al, 2021;Muwal et al, 2018;Long et al, 2018;Gu ¨ndu ¨z et al, 2015;, magnetic materials (Upadhyay et al, 2017;Vignesh et al, 2017;Sharples & Collison, 2014) and...…”

“…These characteristics allowed developing immunosensors for estradiol with high sensitivity and low interference from other redox compounds. [10,11] In this work, we propose a novel electrochemical marker based on a bis-triazole ligand with high electrochemical response, increased stability and solubility in aqueous phase.…”
