Safety of retrievable inferior vena cava filters in patients with the antiphospholipid syndrome

Abstract: Objective: Consideration for placement of an inferior cava filter arises in patients with APS where cessation of anticoagulation is necessary or thrombotic complications continue despite maximal anticoagulation.
