Abstract

a subtotal resection, stabilize the patient, and returned for definitive resection in the future. In the second case, an adult male with a large complex tongue/lip AVM, presented for elective resection. He underwent staged sclerotherapy, followed by resection using the Harmonic Scalpel. The use of vessel sealing devices allows for a safe and efficient resection for a previously difficult surgery.
