“…Intention to treat analysis demonstrated a 61% success rate for neuromodulation and 42% success for standard medical treatment at 6 months of treatment. In another prospective randomized study, over 6 months, 34 implanted patients were observed and 42 patients, who received standard medical therapy, comprised the control group [32].
