S-NiSe/HG Nanocomposites with Balanced Dielectric Loss Encapsulated in Room-Temperature Self-Healing Polyurethane for Microwave Absorption and Corrosion Protection

Yunfei Zhang,
Lei Zhang,
Lingfeng Tang
et al.

Abstract: Exploring anticorrosion electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbing materials in harsh conditions remains a challenge. Herein, S-NiSe/HG nanocomposites encapsulated in room-temperature self-healing polyurethane (S-NiSe/HG/SPU) were exploited as superior anticorrosion EMW absorbing materials. A dual-defect engineering collaborative Schottky interface construction endows S-NiSe/HG with a high vacancy concentration, abundant defects, and moderate conductivity. These structural merits synergistically balance dielectric l… Show more

“…In the contemporary era, electromagnetic (EM) technology is undergoing continuous development and finds widespread applications in both military and civilian domains, including military radar, portable electronics, wireless communication, and more [ 1 3 ]. While EM technology provides substantial convenience, it also gives rise to electromagnetic interference and radiation, posing risks to people's wellness [ 4 6 ], and impacting the regular operation of electronic devices.…”
