Abstract:The ligand H 2 L (N-(N,N-diethylaminothiocarbonyl)benzimidoylchloride-2-aminoacetophenone-N-methylthiosemicarbazone) reacts with ruthenium(II) building blocks [RuHCl(CO)(EPh 3) 3 ] (E = P or As) to form new complexes [Ru(1,1-DT)(Cl 2)(CO)-(EPh 3) 2 ] (E = P or As; 1,1-DT = 1,1-diethylthiourea). The ligand H 2 L in these reactions undergoes C=N bond break and coordinates through sulfur atom of C=S group. Analytical and spectral (IR, UV-Vis, NMR, ESI-MS) methods were used to characterize the compounds. A distort… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
