Russia’s nationalities policy and the country’s Central Asian residents’ identity-based activities

Abstract: As applied to the Russian case, identity politics means first and foremost a state strategy that regulates the public expressions of ethnicity-based solidarity in a way that prevents them from being motivated by a sense of injustice.
