Abstract: Background/Aims: Esophageal carcinoma is a frequently occurring cancer at upper gastrointestinal tract. We aimed to evaluate the roles and possible mechanism of Runt Related Transcription Factor 2 (RUNX2) in the development of esophageal cancer.
