Routine use of chest computed tomography may avoid futile resections in patients with suspected pancreatic head carcinoma

Abstract: Background: Pylorus preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy is one oft he most complex procedures in general surgery. Laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy was initially described in 1994.
