Rotation-Invariant Transformer for Point Cloud Matching

Abstract: The intrinsic rotation invariance lies at the core of matching point clouds with handcrafted descriptors. However, it is widely despised by recent deep matchers that obtain the rotation invariance extrinsically via data augmentation.
