Abstract: The characteristics of a room-temperature Fe 2+ : ZnSe laser based on a polycrystalline sample pumped by a nonchain HF laser were studied. The Fe 2+ : ZnSe laser energy was E = 15 mJ at the efficiency with respect to the absorbed HF laser energy ab=15%.
