Room-temperature electric field control of spin filtering efficiency for enhanced modulation of optical spin polarization in a defect-functional 0D–2D hybrid nanostructure

Abstract: We demonstrate an electric field control of optical spin polarization of InAs quantum dots in the range of 15–40% at room temperature. This accomplishment is achieved by tuning the spin amplification degree of dilute nitride GaNAs quantum well.
