“…The ompA mutant of E. coli was more sensitive to a variety of antibiotics, including β-lactams, amphenicols, glycopeptides, and lincosamides, compared to the WT [ 6 ]. Furthermore, our team discovered that Citrobacter werkmanii showed increased 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) resistance following the inactivation of ompA [ 37 ].
