Roles of nitric oxide synthases in platelet-activating factor-induced intestinal necrosis in rats

Abstract: We conclude that cNOS and iNOS play different roles in PAF-induced intestinal injury. Caution should be exerted concerning potential therapeutic uses of iNOS inhibitors.
