Role of the Perfluoro Effect in the Selective Photochemical Isomerization of Hexafluorobenzene

Abstract: Hexafluorobenzene and many of its derivatives exhibit a chemoselective photochemical isomerization, resulting in highly-strained, Dewar-type bicyclohexenes.
