The current linear model inherent to the linear economy within the industry cannot continue its operations due to the high contribution towards environmental damage. To address this matter, the circular economy and the circular business models as environmental solutions for organizations will be capable of bringing business profit. Unfortunately, few studies have shed light on the types of capabilities and innovation required to produce the change to circular business models since these updates will lead to significant opportunities and challenges for enterprises. Thus, this research explores the factors that strengthen and hamper producer‐service enterprises' innovation capability to implement circular business model. The study applied the fuzzy Delphi method and grey‐based DEMATEL approaches to identify the most influential factors and the casual relationships among them towards circular business model implementation within the service sector. The research results indicated 10 main drivers and barriers related to circular business model implementation based on the fuzzy Delphi method. The contributions of this study can be used as a guide for producer‐service enterprises and other parties involved in policy‐making and shed light on the applications of business model innovations in general.

India is the fifth more vulnerable country to climate change consequences, with 2.54.5 per cent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at risk every year. In conclusion, India has committed to reducing the greenhouse emissions of its Gross Domestic Product by 33-35 per cent by 2030, compared to 2005 levels. However, India will need to raise $2.5 trillion between 2016 and 2030 to accomplish this goal (MOEFCC, 2015). However, climate-related investments — both public and private — in green infrastructure development remain restricted. While India has taken several measures to solve this issue, rising green investments would need a greater emphasis on India’s infrastructure development. Long-term infrastructure is essential for a better future in an era when India announced that it would begin its decarburization journey to reach specified green targets. Green infrastructure is innovation and practices that employ natural systems to get better the overall value of the environment and provide ecological, social, and economic rewards. The study describes the contribution and investment in green infrastructure to optimize the growth with sustainable development in India. The research reveals that effective planning for green investment helps to maintain the adequate trade-off between development and ecosystem.

The Influence of Various Role Models on Children’s Pro-environmental Behaviours

Although most schoolchildren can dispose of their own litter, they are typically not sensitive to environmental issues in the school’s public areas. How do we improve children’s sensitivity to public environments and cultivate pro-environmental behaviours? Based on Bandura’s social learning theory, this study explored the effects of various role models (teachers and peers) on the pro-environmental behaviours of children aged 7–13. A field study was conducted in which examples of postprandial garbage disposal behaviours were provided using role models and the subsequent behaviours of the children were observed. We located the experiment in a real educational context and manipulated the type of role model (teacher or peer) and the behaviour being modelled (positive behaviours involving picking up litter or negative behaviours involving littering). The results showed that different role models had different effects on the subjects’ pro-environmental behaviours. Only positive demonstration by teachers significantly improved the subjects’ pro-environmental behaviours, that is, teachers’ picking up of garbage in front of children significantly improved the children’s attention to the environment and their adoption of pro-environmental behaviours. Positive demonstration by peers, negative demonstration by teachers and negative demonstration by peers had no impact on the children’s pro-environmental behaviours. The results demonstrate that teachers must be mindful of their role as role models in the educational environment and facilitate students’ development of pro-environmental behaviours.
