Dongxia Jin,

et al.

Abstract: The dysregulation of adenylate cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is associated with a variety of inflammatory conditions. Here, we aimed to assess the role of serum CAP1 protein in predicting acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and to explore its effect and mechanism in vascular endothelial cells injury. ELISA was utilized to detected CAP1 protein expression in serum from 70 patients with first-time AMI at 0, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours and 7 days of the onset of chest pain. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) cu… Show more

“…Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), being the most prevalent cardiovascular ailment globally, is a icted around 800 million individuals internationally [20]. Amidst the escalating tempo of human existence and heightened stressors across various facets of contemporary society, disorders traditionally linked to advanced age are progressively in ltrating younger demographics [21]. Pathologically, AMI is profoundly in uenced by hypoxia and apoptosis (Aptosis) [22,23,24].…”
