“…Sun et al found that transplantation of BM-MSCs was effective in inducing osteoblastic niche reconstruction and improving the hematopoietic stem cell niche [ 56 ]. Studies showed that CTX broke the inflammatory balance in ovaries through inhibiting the production of the anti-inflammatory cytokines and increasing the production of the pro-inflammatory cytokines [ 57 , 58 ] and induced the apoptosis of GCs [ 25 , 57 ], which is consistent with our results. Cytokines, GCs, and vascular endothelial cells are important components of the germ stem cell niche.…”

“…The above method tried to avoid the influence by aging. Too much chemotherapeutic drugs may cause complete depletion of FGSCs in ovaries, we performed pre-experiments to look for a suitable dosage and timing of CTX/BU based on previous studies [50,51]. An unsuitable dosage and timing of RES can cause some serious side effects, we also performed per-experiments to optimize the treatment of RES.…”

“…CXCR4 was the most down-regulated gene in the AhR knock-down granulosa cells treated with TCDD. CXCR4, a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine CXC motif ligand 12 (CXCL12), was reported to be involved in follicular development and oocyte maturation (Sayasith & Sirois, 2014;Choi et al, 2017;Luo et al, 2017;Zhang et al, 2018). Zhang et al (2018) demonstrated that inhibition of CXCR4 repressed the expression of hyaluronan synthase 2 (HAS2) and decreased cumulus expansion in sheep.…”
