Role of positron emission tomography in primary carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma of the bronchus: A case report

Abstract: BACKGROUND Primary carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma arising from the tracheobronchial system is rarely reported. CASE SUMMARY We present a patient with primary carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma of the bronchus and review the associated literature for further comparison, including age, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic process.
