Abstract: Hippocampal hyperactivity is a hallmark of memory dysfunction associated with age related mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and Alzheimer’s disease, leading to the hypothesis that hippocampal trisynaptic circuit hyperactivity impairs memory function.
