Role of Pan Chewing in Oral Submucous Fibrosis - Our Experience

Abstract: BACKGROUND Pan chewing causes Oral Sub-Mucous Fibrosis (OSMF) which is one of the major premalignant conditions of the oral cavity. It is seen mainly in South East Asia, Europe and North America. Malignant transformation to squamous cell carcinoma accounts for 2-3%.
