Role of Interleukins and Nitric Oxide Secretion by Peritoneal Macrophages in Differential Tumoricidal Effect to Transplantable Melanomas as Regarding their Biological Properties

Abstract: The secretion of interleukins (IL-18, IL-12) and Nitric Oxide (NO) by peritoneal macrophages from hamsters bearing two lines of transplantable melanoma was estimated. Macrophages of animals with melanoma lines secreted less IL-18 but more IL-12 and NO in comparison with the control macrophages.
