Role of Il - 23 in Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis and Other Premalignant Disease , It’s Therapeutic S Approach

Abstract: Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative colitis collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease IBD is chronic uncontrolled inflammation characterized by intense mucosal recruitment of activated leukocytes. Here we have developed an in vitro model for IBD using colon cancer cell line HCT-116. Colon Cancer cell line HCT-116 expressed elevated IL-23 levels when induced with LPS isolated from various bacterial strains.
