Role of frozen section in evaluating follicular neoplasms of thyroid

Abstract: Background: Thyroid lesion diagnosed as follicular neoplasm (FN) on fine-needle aspiration cytology is a challenge to both pathologist and surgeon. To recognize capsular and vascular invasion, histological evaluation is essential.
