Role of endoscopic ultrasonography in the diagnosis of dysphagia aortica

Abstract: Dysphagia aortica is an unusual cause of dysphagia. Diagnosis of this condition is usually based on chest radiography, barium esophagogram, chest computed tomography, endoscopy, and aortography. We report a case of dysphagia aortica who was successfully diagnosed using endoscopic ultrasonography and treated with life style modification and medications. Keywords: dysphagia aortica; aortic aneurysm; endoscopic ultrasonography; endoscopy.
