Abstract:Oral cancer, periodontitis, reduced response to periodontal therapy, implant failure, tooth loss, dental caries, delayed wound healing, chronic candidiasis, staining, halitosis and premalignant tissue alteration are all caused or linked to smoking and smokeless tobacco use.
