Abstract: BACKGROUNDAmong the multiple causes of haemoptysis, active tuberculosis (TB), chronic inflammatory lung diseases due to bronchiectasis, aspergilloma within a chronic sarcoid or tuberculous cavity are the most common cause of haemoptysis in developing countries.
